Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ability to communicate effectively with the general public; general knowledge of company specified computer operating software, ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, co-workers and general public; pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and assisting people. Possess experience in installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading MS Windows 2007 Operating Systems. Experience in multiple PC hardware platforms, supporting MS Office productions. Posses the ability to configure systems, communications devices, and peripheral equipment; ability to train site personnel in the proper use of IT hardware and software, provide computer support in a networked environment, understand basic computer network concepts, and excellent customer service skills; possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and Internet Explorer.
Education: High School Diploma with two (2) years related experience or equivalent.
Experience: Preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience in installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading MS Windows 2007 operating systems; experience in multiple PC hardware platforms and supporting MS Office products. Comptia A+ and Net+ Certifications preferred.
Typical Physical/Mental Demands: Requires prolonged sitting, standing or walking; mobility; eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity; fine finger manipulation; able to lift up to 25 pounds; communicate with management and staff. Work is performed in the casino and in an office environment; staff contact required; tolerate varying conditions of noise levels, temperature, illumination and air quality.
