ResponsibilitiesFor PSO, analyze user needs and requests, corporate directives, and MSS changes for impact and required effort to accomplish. Spec and develop or coordinate the needed development of these changes and enhancements. Support night time PSO processes. Lead other team members in support of the PSO system. Position Summary: Develop and manage Information Technology projects in the support of the development and/or implementation of Information Technology systems and services. Leads Technical Analysts and Senior Technical Analysts. Collaborates with Group, Division and Corporation Information Technology staff. Supports working relationships with suppliers, customers and operating units. Essential Functions: - Define and document the scope of Information Technology related projects offering direction and support to team members for project completion. - Establishes and develops procedures for proper utilization of technology related to business and opportunities . - Develop detailed task lists, timelines and resource budgets to complete projects. Align resources to tasks to accomplish projects. - Communicate projects status to key personnel including project stakeholders, decision makers, sponsors and project team members on a periodic basis. Provide monthly management reporting on the status of all projects. - Provide an effective project close/transition at the completion of the scope of projects. - Actively encourages the development and mentoring of team members. - Identify and communicate recommendations for new or improved business systems or services within the Enterprise framework to support the business units. - Champion and promote the availability and resources of the Enterprise systems and services related to better effectiveness and efficiencies. - Analyze, design, configure, code, test and document Advanced IT application systems including Client server, Mobile and Web enabled technologies. - Demonstrate the ability to work and adapt to new technologies including: .NET, Java, SQL, HTML, XML, Oracle/Siebel, IBM Sterling, and IBM DataStage.
QualificationsMust be Proficient in COBOL programming, reviewing code to apply business requested changes. Must be able to communicate clearly. Must be able to write technical and user documentation. Technical Qualifications include and may not be limited to: COBOL, CICS, DLI, TELON, VSAM, TSO, MKS, EXPEDITOR, OS/MVS JCL, ESP scheduler, Ondemand, WebFOCUS.
