In addition to these services, we are also providing our clients with technical writing, training and support services.
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Hours: 8 – 5 pm (one hour lunch), after hours and weekends as required
Employment Status: FULL TIME
As an IT Trainer you will be a member of our growing team and will:
Research and develop training programs for the client for our product. Develops methods and materials for training staff and may prepare curriculums including lectures, ideas for group discussions, demonstrations, and workshops.
Evaluates training delivery, measures results, and recommends program changes.
Must stay abreast of new training methods and determine relevancy to company employees.
This person will be creating the materials for training.
Add guidance or training around any area that end-users may need to be successful in working in the system.
Bridge any gaps between the business operations and IT operations around the product.
Answer, analyze, give guidance and solve incidents that may have been a result of missed or unclear previous training items.
Who are we looking for:
1-5 year of experience as a Trainer, required.
1-5 years of experience creating IT training programs for complex bespoke software solutions.
Has a strong passion for technology and software.
An initiative taker: capable to extract information from key-persons and not afraid to go in depth.
Has a flexible attitude.
Willing and capable of continuously learning.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred.
IT training qualification from an accredited / well known program preferred.
Must have experience with IT system training.
Must have designated learning tools for past software or technology projects.
Understanding of functional and IT use of bespoke software systems.
Ability to quickly understand detailed design documents and create innovative training programs, using a variety of delivery methods, to meet specific learning needs.
Expert IT training creation skills and delivering those skills in a classroom setting.
Deep knowledge of a business application (ERP is an asset), a plus.
Must also be able to pass a security background check and pass a for-cause and pre-employment drug test.
