Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in software design, architecture, and building front-end applications, UI components, or UI frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience programming experience in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience collaborating with design and multi-functional engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related hands-on experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expert-level knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Experience working with component-based architecture and Ember.js framework.
• Knowledge of native DOM, Event APIs, asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of browser quirks and their remedies.
• Prior experience building, working with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
• Experience with A/B testing.
• Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
• Expert-level knowledge of debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc.)
• Familiarity and comfort with command-line applications, git source control, and other aspects of developing in large, distributed software teams.
• Experience with unit and e2e testing frameworks.
• Experience with agile and scrum methodologies.
