Responsibilities and Qualifications
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to work with us on our Bell Mass Channel, primarily on packaging for bike helmets and accessories, ecommerce content, point of purchase/merchandising material and other sales support programs. In this role, the packaging responsibilities will be less about creating structures, and more about applying content to existing structures based on style guides.
_Responsibilities_
+ Create packaging based on creative briefs, working closely with the Art Director and Product Managers.
+ Execute designs with strict adherence to a wide variety of style guides.
+ The job requires creating extensive mockups….3D renderings as well as physical mockups.
+ Route concepts for approval and apply respective feedback until the projects are approved.
+ Prepare artwork for production and release artwork to the vendors.
+ Communicate back and forth with the vendor to handle any questions or concerns they might have.
+ Proof print samples for color adherence and quality.
+ Organize files, folders and other artwork in an effective/efficient manner.
+ Other duties may be assigned.
_Skills_
+ Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent work experience
+ Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
+ Good eye for design/layout.
+ Must have a working knowledge of production principles and professional printing language.
+ Ability to take direction and manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with ever changing priorities.
+ Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
+ Speed is essential as we have a heavy workload, but detail oriented is critical.
+ Team player who can also work independently.
+ Deadline oriented – we need someone who self-polices deadlines and knows when to raise their hand and ask what the priorities are when necessary.
+ Portfolio required.
+ Experience creating infographics and A+ content for Amazon is a plus.
The role will be remote (temporarily) as a result of Covid-19 until we reopen the office. Prior to full return to the office, you may be required to periodically work in the office. We follow CDC guidelines regarding PPE and social distancing.
