Kitchen Lead 1st Shift at Russell Stover Chocolates

The Kitchen Lead has a direct role in the chocolate production process from beginning to end. They are responsible for ensuing each piece of candy that comes out of our facility is "Only the Finest" quality that our customer have grown to expect.  The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:  The hours are 2:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday Tuesday and Wednesday Flexibility with schedule. 

Job Description

• Directs, controls, monitors, assists, and trains employees assigned to a specific area, line, or team per directed by Supervisor's instruction.
• Must be able to communicate with and delegate tasks to team members.
• Operates machinery, equipment and tools in a safe and proficient manner according to standards.
• Maintains records, delivers, inspects and performs all activities required of other members fo the area, line and team.
• Must be able to read and understand product specifications established by Russell Stover Candies and recognize deviations from those specifications
• Perform clean up activities as assigned
• May be assigned other jobs by plant management as required.

Basic Qualifications

• 1 Year working Manufacturing Environment
• 18 years of age
• Ability to follow formula cards

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree
• Candy Maker or Lead
• 3 Years Manufacturing Environment.
