Job Description for a Lab and Office Coordinator:
Create, organize and deliver events to foster a vibrant and collaborative community, including but not limited to member orientation, business & professional development sessions, equipment training, lab meeting, biosafety committees, social gatherings, and complementary programs
Manage scheduled resources and associated IT/AV needs, i.e. conference rooms, phone booths, lab equipment, etc.
Maintain, track and manage certificates of insurance for all member companies, vendors and contractors
Assist the laboratory operations director in ordering, maintaining, organizing and stocking laboratory supplies, etc.
Maintain, track and manage accurate record of onboarding, training and exit of all member companies and their personnel, and provide periodic reports regarding member status
Research potential companies or individuals to provide value-add engagement, i.e. roundtable sessions, office hours, mentoring, etc.
Must Have Requirements of a Lab and Office Coordinator:
3+ years of experience working in a science-related organization, preferably in a collaborative or shared working environment.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with individuals at all levels, provide guidance, and great customer service.
