LEAD CARPENTER/CARPENTER HELPER W. E. You must have a history of continuous verifiable employment and be able to pass a full background check. A reliable work vehicle to get to work and your own hand tools. Able to COMPLETE projects without supervision in a timely manner. Able to work well with others in a team. The successful Carpenter will have the following skills, education and experience: Solid ability to read and understand blueprints, sketches, and drawings. Ability to hold tight tolerances (1/16") on lengths and hole placement. Skilled at fabricating, assembling, building and shaping materials with standard carpentry tools. Safely operates cutting and shaping equipment, power tools, hand tools and other process equipment. Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of quality. Possess high school diploma or GED or six months' to a year of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five to seven years' experience as a carpenter. Carpentry certificate received from trade school preferred or the five to seven years' experience as a carpenter The Carpenter position requires: Must be a US Citizen.
