Under limited supervision, maintains the electrical and instrumentation systems at the water and wastewater treatment plants and lift stations. Plans electrical systems additions or modifications on primary and/or secondary circuits (50v-15,000v); repairs faults in primary systems and performs preventive maintenance on medium voltage components.
High school diploma or GED; Minimum seven (7) years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and/or pneumatic instrumentation and process control equipment. An ISA level one Certified Control System Technician certification, an Associate Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology, or an Industrial Electronics Technical Certification may substitute for the required experience. Must possess a valid driver license. Possession of a Palm Beach County Electrician Journeyman License. Must maintain their Journeyman license.
