The Lead IT Project Manager is responsible for keeping the IT projects on track to achieve strategic objectives as well as developing the features required to improve the projects. The Lead IT Project Manager will be engaged with business units across the enterprise as well as subject matter experts across functional disciplines (e.g. Tax, Legal, Finance, etc.). The Lead IT Project Manager will also have a high degree of visibility within the enterprise as they will be responsible for presenting to executive management about the health and direction of the IT projects.

Hours: 8 – 5 pm (one hour lunch), after hours and weekends as required

Equivalent related experience or a Bachelor’s degree required.
10+ years of experience
(Must also be able to pass a security background check and pass a for-cause and pre-employment drug test.)
Proven project management experience and knowledge of project management;
Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful program outcomes
Detail-oriented, organized, critical thinker, and strong analytical skills
Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups and Executives
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint)
Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a support perspective.
Demonstrated ability to take a global vision or strategy into an action plan/roadmap across an enterprise
Multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple complex projects. Self-motivated, high energy, self-confident, proven achiever with the ability to drive for results
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, use data for decision making; think creatively, communication recommendations, influence change and drive implementation of new processes and structure.
Maintain and update the governance framework, monitor compliance with requirements in framework process, controls and documentation.
Maintain and enhance program policy documentation and supporting control mechanisms
Manage Project Feature list and work with the technical teams to design and document business requirements;
Coordinate governance committee and board member meetings, monitor business processes, establish and maintain procedures manuals and program policies;
Liaison with Finance Management team, fulfilling their requests for information and support in creating presentation materials, reading materials or any other as needed on the program;
Manage and own facilitation, tracking and reporting of program performance, risks, and issues. Assist with advising managers and teams on the best use of the program to achieve enterprise-wide strategic objectives;
Collaborate with other departments, to monitor emerging requirements to determine the impact to existing policies;
Communicate project status to all interested parties;
Understand the deliverables of internal and external customers and contribute to success through cooperative and collegial processes;
Manage internal tools (e.g. SharePoint, etc,) and provide support on feature prioritization, business case and decision making process;
Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete.
