Crestview Retirement community’s kitchen in Bryan is looking for lead line cook who has experience in cooked to order! With a team of Executive Chef & Line cooks we are looking for a competent addition to our team. It’s NOT a Nursing home, it’s a Retirement community with a restaurant, bistro and private dining !
About us: Crestview retirement home is a plush upscale retirement community offering independent living, skilled nursing assisted living, and memory care services to seniors. Sponsored by MRC (Methodist Retirement Communities), we currently serve 2,000 residents in 11 (currently, and soon to be more) senior living communities.
Prepares and cooks food items using proper food handling and preparation techniques.
Pays special attention to therapeutic diets and follows standardized recipes.
Works in a grill to order area.
Prepares foods for special functions.
Operates and ensures proper functioning of food production equipment.
Responsible for advance preparation of next meal's menu items.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience
Completion of a vocational or specialized food preparation training program or the equivalent in experience is preferred.
Ability to obtain a food handler certification is required
