Lead System Architect is a thought leader and self–motivated individuals with a proven track record of leading technical design in collaboration with Business and other technologists. You love to share your passion with others and exhibit good judgment in designing solution for business problems.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES• Drive the vision and innovation, standards, development processes, systems architecture, and design patterns to support Process Management and Automation solutions• Monitor emerging IT trends in the LTC, Life and Annuity Insurance and determine its relevance and impact on the company• Work as a key member of the Solution Architecture and Engineering team with other architects to develop Process Management and Automation Solutions using Pega PRPC, Pega Customer Service Framework and BIX development for core managed insurance operations• Develop the application architecture for workflow solutions, and support implementation by multiple Pega development teams, including integration of other Pega application• Validate that core administration and workflow technical solutions can be practically executed, properly integrate with the existing application portfolio, and coordinated with enterprise strategies and roadmaps• Develop and maintain IT roadmaps that demonstrate how the Process administration and automation within Operations will be executed• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and communicate long term vision and comprehensive strategic plans for enterprise process architecture and supporting infrastructure• Develop comprehensive strategic reference architectures for process architecture disciplines• Partner with Business and IT leaders to convert business needs into strategic capabilities and assets• Serve as the technical expert for enterprise wide Process management and automation domains• Oversee systems design and architecture through leadership participation in architecture reviews• Create and maintain standards for development and design techniques• Plan and integrate the work activities of virtual IT teamsYOUR QUALIFICATIONS• Computer Science BS or equivalent experience• Understanding of Health care or insurance or banking business domain, Service and Operations• 10+ years of relevant design and architecture experience• 7+ years of experience in Pega PRPC• 3+ years of experience in Pega 7.x• 2+ years of experience in Pega CRM or Customer Service for Insurance• Proven experience in Pega environment upgrade• Certified Pega CSSA or above (CLSA)• Demonstrated experience in Agile (Scrum)• Architect, Design and Delivery of Large Enterprise applications capable of operating at scale• Good understanding of Software Engineering principles• Ability to work well and flexible with changing prioritiesADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS• Experience with implementing DevOps (Test and CI/CD) in Pega Environment• Extensive design experience of Connectors and Services in PRPC to integrate with external systems• Experience with Oracle and stored procedures using PL/SQL• Experience with designing and implementing REST based API integration services• Experience using Gitlab• Experience in Pega Direct Capture Objective conceptWHY WORK AT GENWORTH• We have a real impact on the lives of the people we serve• We work on challenging and rewarding projects• We give back to the communities where we live• We offer competitive benefits including:o Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Account options beginning your first day o 20 days of Choice Time Off your first full yearo 11 Paid Holidayso 40 hours of volunteer time offo 401K Account with matching contributionso Tuition Reimbursement and Student Loan Repaymento Paid Family Leaveo Child Care Subsidy ProgramCOMPANYGenworth Financial, Inc. is a leading insurance holding company committed to helping families achieve the dream of home ownership and address the financial challenges of aging through its leadership positions in mortgage insurance and long-term care insurance.
