Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale P.C. has a full time opening for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Our staff focus on teamwork and supporting each other to better balance workloads. Therefore, strong teamwork and communication skills are highly desired. Qualified applicants will type at least 70 wpm and have excellent attention to detail, organizational, proofreading and customer service skills, with the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. Patent/trademark prosecution experience is preferred and strong Microsoft Office skills are required. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience as an IP LAA specifically supporting a Patent/Trademark prosecution/transactional practice. Responsibilities consist of supporting the IP docketing and monitoring attorney docket for deadlines, reviewing and generating special docket reports, as well as, support services including typing, editing documents including correspondence to clients, time entry, billing, maintaining file system including paper/electronic filing, calendaring/scheduling, travel arrangements, contact with clients, and various other administrative duties.
