Legal Secretary work a 40 hour, Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p
The Administrative Coordinator assists in the performance of routine and complex administrative duties which may include maintaining project data, preparing various payroll and personnel forms and answering questions regarding department policies and procedures. Responsible for coordinating a variety of department projects, activities and schedules.
This position is responsible for the performance of general legal secretarial and administrative duties such as drafting and typing routine and complex correspondence, documents and agreements, relaying confidential information, gathering and compiling information for attorney work product, answering telephone calls, maintaining attorney files, scheduling meetings for calendars, processing subpoenas or summons, database management, editing documents, submitting expense reports and responding to client requests for information.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or similar office environment.
Verbal communication skills for interaction with attorneys and clients.
Organizational ability to maintain complex attorney files and type from dictation.
Excellent telephone skills compatible with a professional office.
