XPO Logistics is currently seeking Local CDL-A Shuttle Drivers in the Atlanta, GA. Local shuttle drivers mainly run between facilities in Union City, Fairburn, and Lithia Springs.

DRIVERS BENEFIT FROM:

• $24.50/hr plus OT after 40 hours
• Sunday - Wednesday: 5am to 3pm
• Wednesday - Saturday: 5am to 3pm
• Sunday - Wednesday: 5pm to 3am
• Wednesday - Saturday: 5pm to 3am

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination
• Provide excellent service to customers
• Load and unload freight

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally)
• Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer
• Sit for extended periods of time in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift; safely operate heavy equipment and a forklift
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather)
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous materials

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 23 years old
• 1 year of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience
• Hazmat required
• Forklift experience preferred
• No DUI's in the past 5 years
• Must pass a DOT Physical Examination including drug screen at a DOT approved clinic
• Criminal Backgrounds will be reviewed
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No careless, reckless, excessive speed (15 or more), or following too close within the last 24 months will be reviewed
• No more than 2 chargeable accidents in the last 3 years.
