The Naval Sea Systems Command’s Enterprise Information Technology /Command Information Officer ( SEA 00I EITO/CIO) provides superior management and compliance of Information Management/ Information Technology (IM/IT), cybersecurity, and Information Systems (IS) lifecycle management and compliance for the NAVSEA Enterprise. The NAVSEA Enterprise is comprised of over 35 work sites worldwide including NAVSEA Headquarters (HQ), Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Warfare Centers, Shipyards and Supervisors of Shipbuilding and more than 60,000 users.
Understands the purpose and scope of activities associated with various ILS elements’ planning and processes. Analyzes, organizes, plans, and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, and/or maintenance/repair activities for one or more basic programs using established procedures. Analyzes basic contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operations characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning and/or maintenance/repair requirements. Assists in developing logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies. Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality, and cost, schedule, and scope control. Assists in conducting distribution and network studies, monitors inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline.
- 8 years of related experience or 4 years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
