4 Point Consulting is working with Hu Products, LLC to recruit a Logistics Manager at their New York, NY (Union Square) location.

We are looking for a reliable Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. The responsibilities for this role include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach.

Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
Manage of goods from ingredients to manufacturers to fulfillment center and end customer
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers consumers
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes process shipments
Resolve any arising problems or complaints
Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
Prepare accurate reports for upper management
2+ Logistics experience
Experience in customer service appreciated
Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
