Magazine Loader from Staffmark

Taking bundles of magazines off a pallet and placing them onto a conveyor line and or taking those bundles off the line, palletizing them and getting them ready for shipment.  You are require to stand on your feet for 12 hours a day, be able to lift anywhere from 25 - 50 pounds repeatedly.  Also, steel toed shoes are required to be worn while working.

Hours: 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am
Days: Thursday to Saturday and every other Sunday

•           Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment

•           Must be able to appropriately and securely handle company property, including direct mail in a large warehouse facility

•           Must be able to appropriately and safely handle confidential and/or private information in a direct mail environment

Dress Code:

•           Steel toed shoes are required

•           T-shirts/Shirts - long or short-sleeve

•           Jeans/pants (no holes/tears)

•           Long hair must be pulled back in a ponytail and pinned up (cannot hang below shoulders)

Unacceptable:

•           No tank tops

•           No dresses

•           No midriff shirts

•           No sleeveless shirts

•           No loose clothing

•           No jewelry

•           No hats

            No shorts/Capri pants

•           No loose fitting clothing that drapes/wraps hair, sleeves, legs

•           Cannot wear anything that exposes cleavage

•           Cannot wear any hooded clothing or any clothing with drawstrings

•           Cannot wear anything that exhibits inappropriate pictures or words

Aspects of the Position:

•           Hands-on training

•           Fast paced work environment

•           May be assigned to an assembly line and will be required to keep pace with team to minimize stoppage on line

•           Position is temporary, lay-offs are probable

•           Team Leader may assign additional work responsibilities    

•           Having to do “floor work” (housekeeping) during slow times
