This position is for Cosma Body Assembly Michigan located within minutes of Novi, MI. This is a temporary position for approximately one year in length.
The Maintenance CMMS Implementation Specialist will assist the maintenance planner and Facility & Maintenance Manager in all facets of their daily business, including spare parts inventory and ordering, warranty tracking and the creation of maintenance PMs. The Maintenance CMMS Implementation Specialist will set up our CMMS (eMaint) program to be a World Class system. This project's main goal is to reduce downtime across the board by allowing maintenance to have everything they need right at their fingertips. This project will add line-side tablets and QR codes for techs that will allow them to scan each asset, bringing up all information regarding that asset. (BOM, TC Parts with a picture, PM's, Manuals, Emergency Vendor Contacts, possibly old EWO's that showed what we did last time, etc.)
* Create an additional database in eMaint that will store all consumables per asset (Sort of like the TC Search but with Pictures) * Create a link to track shim moves * Creates and maintains the preventative and predictive maintenance procedures on mechanical equipment as laid out by the manufacturers' specifications. * Link work orders to assets and ensures parts are available. * Work with IT to determine the most robust type of tablet to use * Determine which type of barcodes should be used and barcodes all assets * Integrates CMS with eMaint to show real time inventory levels * Works with vendors on delivery lead times and "How To" manuals. * Streamlines inventory and adjusts min/max levels to minimize on hand parts. * Coordinates preventative and predictive maintenance with Maintenance and Production Planning. * Promotes/recommends continuous improvement suggestions including environment, people, processes and equipment/machinery. * Assists in the development of procedures and methods which improve safety, quality, timing, cost and motivation. * Makes decisions in the scope of their responsibilities that are in the best interest of the department, CBAM and Cosma/Magna. * Ensures confidentiality in all matters pertaining to both business and employee relations. * Complies with, supports and models CBAM's operational procedures/policies, Employee Handbook, and Magna's Employee's Charter, Corporate Constitution, and Operational Principles. * Complies with relevant Quality and Environmental programs (e.g. TS16949, ISO14001). * Complies with all Health and Safety programs in accordance with OSHA. Follows and ensures Company procedures regarding safety rules and regulations are followed. * Keeps work area clean and tidy. * Other duties as required.
Knowledge and Education
High School Diploma. Working towards college degree preferred.
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent math skills with the ability to apply to costs and analyze data. * Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word. * Experience in charting, creating and formatting spreadsheets, as well as creating presentations. * Experienced in inventory management, understands lead times, min/max and re-order levels. * Experience in setting up and maintaining a Preventative Maintenance Program. eMaint is a plus. * Strong listening, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills. * Ability to work with outside vendors and integrators. * Must be proficient in camera and picture editing software. * Must be proficient in relevant computer software and program use. CMS is a plus.
