Shift Requirements 2nd ShiftAbout The Opportunity Position Summary Key Duties And Responsibilities Demonstrate commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures Assure vendors follow the Menasha Contractor Safety guidelines and keep current on annual orientation Provide on-going communication regarding work orders in process and status of various projects Assure weekly Maintenance cleaning is complete and paperwork signed (includes Maintenance Office, mezzanine, and maintenance storage locations) Discuss maintenance concerns with maintenance supervisor and lead Proactively communicate problems encountered to applicable areas Enhance communication for a cohesive work environment Work as a Maintenance Team to accomplish workload Maintenance/troubleshooting Provide Electrical/Mechanical troubleshooting Perform preventative maintenance duties and provide accurate documentation of such duties Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools Perform electric or acetylene welding on steel, cast iron, and bronze Education / Certifications Education Required Education Desired Other Certifications Required Or Desired Skills & Experience Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired Attentive to detail & accuracy, looks for improvements to work processes and takes advantage of tools & resources, finds root cause to quality problems Meets deadlines and responsibilities to help team meet goals, listens to others and values opinions, promotes a team atmosphere Deals with others in a straightforward and honest manner, is accountable for actions, maintains confidentiality, and demonstrates support of company values Meets commitments, works independently, accepts accountability, stays focused under pressure, meets attendance/punctuality requirements Adapts to change and adjusts to meet needs, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities as required Technical knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment Mechanical aptitude Strong math skills Computer ability Strong troubleshooting skills Metal fabrication skills Additional Requirements Physical Requirements Ability to stand 6-8 hours Must be able to lift 50 lbs. maximum Frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
