Learn how to install the following: Wire, conduit, and motors.
Learn the fundamentals of troubleshooting process instrumentation/control valves
Be able to complete pms and calibrations on electrical devices
Previous automation and control experience is preferred

Department objectives: Continue to work towards process setup standardization to prevent doing jobs over again. By placing emphasis on doing things properly the first time and planning ahead, manpower can be available to work on improving other deficient systems on site, removing excess wire or conduit, and improving auxiliary electrical systems.
The first month on the job will consist of many onboarding tasks including safety training, permitting, and learning the facility. Upon completion of all onboarding items, this employee will immediately start working on jobs out in the plant. For the next couple of months this individual will be working directly with at least one other employee until the department deems this person is qualified and knowledgeable regarding site systems and policies to conduct their own work.
