The Penn Foster Brand Team is seeking an experienced brand marketer to help grow, evolve, and be the champion of our brands. This person is responsible for developing customer-focused strategies to increase awareness and drive deeper engagements. You will help establish and evolve Penn Foster’s brand strategy, architecture, positioning, personas and messaging across our B2C and B2B categories. You will be a skilled brand storyteller who will develop meaningful plans based on our learner’s and client’s needs.
You will join our Brand Team within the marketing function. This team which includes creative, marketing communications and product marketing, is collaborative, supportive and cares deeply about our customers.
Essential Job Functions:
Build and evolve scalable brand strategies include positioning, architecture, naming and messaging across the Penn Foster brand portfolio.
Strengthen the understanding of our brand strategy across the company by partnering with other functions to ensure messages and visuals align with our guidelines.
Partner with creative and marketing communications teams to develop assets and materials for ongoing brand initiatives including, brand themes, awareness building activities and website design.
Partner with product marketing, acquisition, B2B, email and web team to translate strategy into tactical plans for implementation
Advance insights from learner, client and 3rd party research to inform our strategy and shape our communications.
Cultivate strong relationships with senior leaders and key cross-organization partners.
Manage outside agency relationships as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
5+ years of related B2C and B2B brand experience required
Ability to think strategically about big picture goals, identify company priorities, develop and implement initiatives/programming accordingly
Expert level understanding of brand development
Experience developing, implementing, and assessing new programming/initiatives focused on brand building
Work independently but also collaborate effectively with others
Strong written and oral communicator
Ability to work from home as needed (currently work from home position due to office closure- subject to change)
