Essential Job Functions: A. Responsible for the analysis of the monthly or weekly vendor telecommunication invoices and bills and for the approval and inspection of the long term and short term wireless accounts. B. Prepares and maintains a telecom billing database and inventory invoicing system which can be utilized to study trends in billing. C. Looks for opportunities, both in billing and vendor offerings, which can bring about savings to the company. D. Directs preparation of regular invoicing for voice, network, and cell technology to accounting in a timely manner and creates reports to assist information technology in decision making for systems. E. Orders and provides vendor telecommunication services to entire agency. F. Provides review of vendor billing related inquires and vendor dispute resolution. G. Receives and documents requests for assistance on cell phones, calling cards, and air cards. H. Assists Director of Technology with telecommunications vendor relations and communications. I. Maintains helpful communications and positive relationships with divisions and affiliate company personnel. J. Primary duties include the exercise of discretion and independent judgement regarding matters of significance. K. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. L. Performs other duties as assigned. Reports To: Director of Information Technology.
Positions Supervised: Telecommunications Business Analyst(s).
A. Must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Training, Business Administration, or equal to five (5) years in experience. B. Must possess experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, pricing and contract T&C's negotiations C. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong computer and project management skills necessary to perform job and appropriate to a professional environment. D. Must also be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. E. Must possess the ability to assimilate, analyze and present information clearly and concisely.
F. Must possess ability to think critically and quickly adapt to changing needs of the work environment. G. Must possess ability to plan, organize workflow, meet deadlines and resolve problems collaboratively with minimal supervision. H. Must follow all safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible. I. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. J. Must have valid driver's license and insurance
