Manage safety, monthly schedule, quality, on time delivery, budgets, planning activities and WIP inventories etc. • Provide day-to-day management & direction for Assembly including monthly review of actual expenditures vs budges, FPY, expense control, workforce planning, cross training, reporting and other administrative functions. Develop and foster growth of Continuous Improvement Process by implementation of projects that help improve OTD & Quality. • Establish reporting structure that is an open two-way communication up stream & down that will ensure competency/objective are understood & realistic. • Work/coordinate with other departments/mangers to improve assembly production procedures/flow, to reduce assembly expense, improve quality, OTD & customer satisfaction. • Develop & foster growth of direct/indirect employees & to comply with all Flowserve policy/guidelines. • Ensure team goals are met and maintained with responsibilities handed down to direct reports. • Maintain a safe work environment assuring that products and services provided meet applicable quality and safety requirements. **Position Requirements:** REQUIRED SKILLS • Ability to effectively manage people. **Preferences:** Preferred Experience / Skills: Education Preferred: • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; • five to eight years related experience and/or training; • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
