The Manager is responsible for leading a global team of Sourcing Project Managers, setting priority and assigning project responsibilities in line with business impact and project complexity. The Manager is responsible for ensuring project execution as outlined by project deadlines, and that projects support defined objectives of the Strategic Sourcing Organization. This individual will lead a team focused on projects of varying complexity including supplier transfers, exits, part transfers and localization projects, sourcing reviews, RFQ and RFP or productivity projects. This is a cross-functional leadership role with responsibility for project management and accountability for deadlines, results and metrics. This individual must have the ability to work closely with Sourcing leadership and commodity owners and quickly identify opportunities to drive performance and process improvement. They must also be able to work in a matrix environment.
Attract, develop and retain the sourcing project management talent base. Develop performance objectives and conduct performance reviews with direct reports. Participate in career planning and development discussions with each direct report through regularly scheduled one on one meetings.

Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Lead and direct Project Managers in support of sourcing and supply chain strategies and related business initiatives.
Ensure project assignments optimize supply chain performance both domestically and globally - including their associated alignments with company-wide commodity and manufacturing strategies and preferred sourcing models
Develop and manage a portfolio of active and planned Sourcing Projects based upon business need and priorities, providing flexibility and capacity to meet or exceed customer and stakeholder expectations.
Measure and track project execution impact, including cost and schedule impact, establishing a cadence with Sourcing leadership with performance updates.
Achieve operational objectives and timing by developing integrated project plans and schedules while creating and driving action plans in accordance with business objectives and target completion dates.
Recommend Project Management improvements through the elimination of variation and waste, focusing on continuous process improvement.
Interface and build strong working relationships with, Development Engineering, Industrialization Engineering, Component Engineering, Business Unit Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Operations Management, Industrialization Planning, Supplier Quality Assurance, Marketing and Finance.
Conduct tasks in accordance with all applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations & laws as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures. Policies and procedures include, but are not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & ISO 14000.
