About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the prime Quality interface for customer-related issues, including customer interactions, investigations and issue-resolutions including CAPA planning and implementation
- Create, implement, and monitor improvement of key performance indicators and metrics from strategic supplier scorecards, customer satisfaction and feedback
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain new processes and procedures where necessary to drive improvements
- Incorporate engineering specifications into design, process, or techniques and provide feedback to capture lessons learned
- Ensure that solutions/corrective actions achieve required quality levels, reliability, and consistency
- Work with Comet suppliers and third-party contractors to determine root cause and corrective actions and document findings and provide feedback
- Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished- product and/or process capabilities and establishing standards within the company
- Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; make presentations to customers and to internal teams
- Work with the NPI team to ensure product quality throughout the product development process
- Maintains product and process data base by writing computer programs; entering data
Qualifications:
- BS degree, Electrical Engineering focus or similar
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Quality in a Manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem solving, creativity, analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, with an emphasis on copy exact
- Strong understanding of PCB/PCBA layout, design manufacturing
- Experience with data and extraction of information to drive Quality improvements
- Outstanding PC skills, especially dealing with large amounts of data, databases and reporting
- SAP experience is strongly desired
- Solid understanding of Statistical Process Control and Out of Control Action Plans
- Experience in a smaller company environment a plus with teamwork approach
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds to shoulder height
