Manages and directs supply chain personnel in the procurement, scheduling, receipt, disbursement, and inventory control of material to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels
Evaluates operational performance of the group in order to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc.
Directs and oversees all material planning, inventory management and scheduling processes for their assigned manufacturing departments’
Drives continuous improvement projects in all scheduling and material areas.
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly processes for COB suppliers ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedule.
Manage quarterly business reviews with COB suppliers.
B.S degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field. MBA is desirable.
5-10 years of work-related experience (Operations scheduling or Material Planning)
Experience working with Advanced Planning Systems (Manugistics, SAP APO, etc.,) Experience with indented BOM systems.
CPIM, CSCP or other APICS or Six Sigma certification or commensurate certification of processes and best practice methods preferred.
