HCAHouston Healthcare Kingwood is a 439-bed acute carefacility that has provided quality care to the Lake Houston area for over 25years. It is home to the area’s only comprehensive cardiac, neuroscience andwomen services programs. Our Women & Children’s Center provides Level IIand III neonatal intensive care units, high-risk obstetrics, a breastdiagnostic center, a designated pediatric unit, and the area’s only pediatricemergency department.
HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is affiliated with HCAHouston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. Thedivision is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers,emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, CorpusChristi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory carecenters, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.
Whatyou will do in this role:
TheManager of Case Management is a registered nurse with twenty-four hour (24) -Seven (7) day/week, responsibility for all operational aspects of theirrespective unit.
Theposition encompasses human resource management, including recommendingsufficient number of qualified and competent personnel to provide care;financial and clinical management, and the provision and development ofprofessional leadership.
TheManager establishes departmental goals and objectives that ensure high quality,cost-effective patient care, while working collaboratively to integrate thegoals of their department with those at Kingwood Medical Center.
Thephilosophy of continuous quality improvement (CQI) is integrated by the NurseManager into all ongoing operations and activities of the department.
