Manager/Senior Manager, Project Management Credit Solutions Program Manager
As a Program Manager in Commercial Bank Credit Solutions, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for building and managing numerous program management operating rhythms within the Commercial Bank Underwriting and Portfolio Management (UW & PM) function. As the manager of the Program Management Office, you will create and manage scalable, sustainable and digital solutions (e.g., tools, reporting, meeting agenda and presentations) to drive regular organization-wide discussions related to the portfolio of projects and provide the necessary visibility to progress and impediments for teams, leaders and partners.
A successful candidate will have proven experience and knowledge of the discipline of project management including common principles, methodologies and tools used by practitioners as well as very strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Lead a Project Management Office that coordinates across Delivery, Product & Technology resources and leaders to understand, track and report on strategic objectives, priorities, initiatives, dependencies, risks and status
Drive evolution and execution of a variety of program management meetings and operational routines, to include facilitating project meetings and communicating project status to key stakeholders, people and materials prep, and post-meeting reporting and follow-ups
Lead projects to further an innovative and well-managed PMO (e.g., Next Gen Portfolio-level Reporting) as needed, including developing project delivery standards, tools for providing structured management of Agile projects, and impact/dependency/risk management best practices
Develop and maintain metrics to measure success and progress of the program portfolio
Manage all project reporting and tracking tools to include establishing standards and identifying improvements to simplify oversight, governance and user experience
Provide leadership for junior associates within the Program Management Office
Partner with leadership to promote and sustain project management best practices and educate the broader organization
Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager
At least 3 years of people management experience
Experience with Agile/Scrum or PMP certification
Experience with Jira, Confluence or Next Generation Project Management tracking tools highly desired
Familiarity with Commercial Banking
Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
Exceptional communications and influencing skills (verbal and written)
Highly collaborative with the ability to build partnerships
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
Comfortable working with teammates and partners in remote locations
Assertive, proactive, and results-focused
