Managing Counsel/Legal Services Coordinator

The North America Office of General Counsel (“OGC”) seeks a Legal Services Coordinator to provide general legal advice to the NA Claims Division, including conducting legal research, drafting agreement, providing counsel on responses to regulatory inquiries, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. This role will serve as the senior legal point of contact and regulatory subject matter specialist on regulatory claims matters in North America. In addition, the incumbent will work in close cooperation with other OGC business units, North America Compliance & Departments of Insurance staffs and therefore needs strong inter personal and diplomacy skills. The individual selected for this position will partner closely with Claims business leadership.

Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical acumen and communication skills, and an advanced understanding of Claims regulation and practices. Candidates must demonstrate a high proficiency in time management, leadership, influence, and project management skills.In addition:
Juris Doctor required. Admission or ability to gain admission to practice law in New Jersey required.
