Manufacturing Coach
Overview
The Manufacturing Coach is responsible for leading production employees in manufacturing products by organizing and monitoring work flow.
Core Responsibilities
• Coordinate and organize production resources
• Administer accurate records for attendance and payroll
• Set objectives and goals for production employees
• Support team-based management processes
• Team with external warehouse to support NPN operations
Additional Responsibilities
• Evaluate team member performance, provide feedback and counseling
• Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures
• Ensure safe work environment and employee safety
• Coordinate problem identification and corrective action plan
• Maintain inventory accuracy within area of responsibility
• Manage training processes
• Provide conflict resolution among employees and peers
• Must be able to work overtime and non-standard shifts
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
·Two year Associates Degree or 6+ equivalent experience in leu of Associates degree
3+years previous supervisory/coaching experience in a manufacturing environment
·Experience managing or organizing large group activities
·Effective communication skills
·Effective conflict management skills
·Computer knowledge including spreadsheets and word processing
Preferred Qualifications
·Experience working in a Union environment
