Position Summary and Responsibilities
Provides Senior Process Engineering support for thin-film hybrid assembly, filter assembly and integrated product assembly including operator training, process standards, etc. Participates in company mandated certification such as ISO 9001, AS9100, MIL-PRF-38534. Participate in Company Technical Review Board (TRB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB).
Support MIC Assembly processes, including eutectic, substrate, die-attach, wire bond, epoxy attach, bond pull, gap welding, seal, and paint. Support environmental tests (Vibration, Leak, Temp Cycle, X-Ray, SEM, etc.). Support MIL-PRF-38534 QML tests (PIND, RGA, Group B, and C, etc.). Trouble-shoot new assembly processes and analyzes data. Generate ECOs to correct and improve assembly documentation. Is involved with process related field returns from start to finish, which includes completing failure analysis, white paper, power point, etc. reports. Participate in Customer and Internal Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, and Manufacturing Readiness Reviews. Assists in new product development with emphasis in auto wire-bonding and auto die attach.
Qualifications
BS in Engineering or related field and 8-12 years previous experience working with Process Engineering. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point. Knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks and Statistical Process Controls preferred. Experience with AS9100 and MIL-PRF-38534. U.S. Citizen and able to attain Security Clearance.
