About the Job
We are seeking a new Marine Service Engineer, who will be able to inspect, install, repair, and service various shipboard navigation and communication equipment. If you possess a strong knowledge of electronics, and are proficient with PC operation and maintenance, we want to hear from you. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated fast learners and self-starters, who are physically fit enough to climb tall masts, and carry 20-50 lbs. This position will require frequent overtime, domestic and international travel.
Equipment you will be servicing includes: radars, ECDIS, gyrocompasses, steering and autopilots, VDR, GMDSS, AIS, GPS, speedlogs, fathometers, and satellite communication/TVRO. Factory training will be provided as required. However, previous field experience or manufacturer's certifications are a definite plus. Compensation will be based on education, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements include:
- FCC GMDSS Radio Operator/Maintainer License with Ship Radar Endorsement or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment
- Valid driver's license
- Valid passport
- Credentials to obtain TWIC card and pass thorough government background checks
- Formal electronics training, preferably with two years related experience

50,000.00 - 95,000.00 /year
