The Marketing Director will be responsible for leading Carbitex’s overarching brand strategy to increase brand awareness within the consumer space as well as with a targeted B2B audience. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in ambiguity, excited about the opportunity to have a tangible impact on growing a brand and is skilled at transitioning between strategic and tactical thinking.
Position reports to the CEO. Will also work closely with the Carbitex Director of Sales.
- 5+ years’ experience in brand marketing
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, website creation, content creation (brochures, flyers, photography, animation, videos). Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) experience a plus.
- Comfortable presenting in front of internal and external leadership teams.
- Managed external vendors including PR firms and design agencies
- Worked closely with sales teams to design campaigns that align with sales goals.
- Athletic, Sports and/or footwear industry experience a plus.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Degree in marketing, sports management or related degree is a plus.
This Marketing Director will be responsible for building upon the foundation of the Carbitex brand and it’s three platform technology products (CX6, AFX and DFX) that are sold to leading brands in the footwear industry. The successful applicant will be high energy, task driven, and comfortable executing a wide assortment of marketing activities.
Lead the development of overarching brand marketing strategy working closely with leadership team, external vendors and brand partners to create an effective and efficient plan to increase brand awareness with consumers and B2B target customers.
Build and manage marketing budget as it pertains to the overarching company goals.
Drive the strategic and tactical execution of evergreen brand and new product launch campaigns including design, implementation, analysis and recommendations.
Partner with head of Sales to develop sales enablement strategy and necessary collateral.
Run art direction in collaboration with external design team, photographers, videographers to create content that aligns with brand standards.
Coordinate content writing, email campaigns, social media marketing, and digital advertising
Provide reporting and metrics on effectiveness of 360-degree marketing campaigns to refine strategy and drive performance
Generate creative ideas to portray Carbitex products and digitally advertise its products
Write new content or optimize existing content to improve search performance
Maintain brand consistency throughout all marketing projects
Stay up to date with marketing industry developments, best practices, and tools
Track and report on competitive activities, footwear product trends, other industry information
Independent, action oriented, self-motivated, kick-butt marketer
Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
Good time management skills and a detailed and organized marketing approach
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Successful track record in senior marketing roles, driving strategy and developing campaigns
Strong communication, leadership and decision-making skills
Attention to visual and verbal messaging details
Hands-on experience with analytics tools, including Google Analytics
Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and other marketing software a plus
Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
Minimal travel will be required.
