We are looking for an entry-level candidate who is looking to join a semiconductor product marketing team, in the field programmable gate array (FPGA) space. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of collateral that leads to successful marketing and positioning plans and strategies for the business units’ products. These tasks may involve event planning and coordination, social media marketing, website design, and technology solution slides. The candidate will need to research market trends, strategies and competitors’ products, in order to identify value propositions, and product solutions. S/he will need to be able to operate and communicate across team mates and time zones, as part of a matrixed organization. Additional responsibilities may include developing performance tracking models, reports, brochures, or be assigned time-bound projects, as part of an ever-expanding role. Effective communication as well as public speaking ability will be crucial to success. Generally, a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, however we will consider a highly-motivated technology savvy candidate with a Business or Marketing degree. Prior experience is preferred, but not required.

Monitor, analyze, and evaluate market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities.
Develop and represent technical features of products in documentation, presentations, social media, and website mediums.
Research and define marketing strategies and end markets to target solutions.
Assist definition of marketing goals and objectives, track progress and report out.
Coordinate with internal teams and stake holders about product features, value propositions, competitor solutions.
Event planning and coordination, social media marketing, website design and technology solution slide development.
Ability to articulate value proposition of FPGAs within the commercial/terrestrial FPGA landscape.
Excellent communication, presentation and teaching skills that align multiple audiences including demanding customers, engineering design staff, executives, and field sales teams.
- Develop FPGA Technical Collateral – product guides, competitive sell sheets, solution decks
- Understand, document, and communicate to engineering applications teams specific customer FPGA/IP design requirements.
- Build technology-based FPGA solution campaigns and collateral.
Bachelor’s Degree (prefer electrical engineering degree).
Motivated, self-starter – ready to learn semiconductor marketing and technology.
Excellent written, oral communication and PowerPoint presentation skills.
History of co-op, paid/unpaid internship, or prior employment.
