Within Google Cloud, the Sales Development team is responsible for qualifying all inbound inquiries, working marketing campaign leads, prospecting into cold accounts, and passing qualified business prospects to our Sales teams. “Operational excellence” and “beautiful experience in every customer interaction” are our mantras. We have team members all over the world in both Google offices and vendor sites. As the Marketing Systems Manager, you will primarily support the global Sales Development organization, managing our systems and tools for Sales Development, with a focus on productivity and scalability of core processes like lead management. You will also build strategic relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and help define short term projects and long term strategy for systems and tools. In this role, you will work closely with Customer Success Acceleration (CSA), Google Cloud Technology and solutions (GTS), Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, among other teams. You will research industry best practices and ensure these best practices are cascaded to the broader organization, including cross-functional groups. You will also be expected to contribute to our global long-term operational strategy, large scale global projects, and continuous improvements of our systems and tools stack.
