Job ID: 10069 Location: US-WA Redmond-B33 (HUB) HR Department: Sales The Master Scheduling Manager is responsible for developing, leading, and executing the global scheduling management system to improve throughput, inventory levels, and production efficiencies while maintaining customer service levels. This position is critical to establishing the master scheduling function as part of the overall business transformation to build to stock and lane strategy. The role will be responsible for the creation and execution of the master production schedule for Genie's (Terex AWP) global operations. This includes participation in and input to the global SIOP process and monthly operations review. Responsibilities and Scope: + Develop global master scheduling management system with supporting management tiers, key performance indicators, and metrics + Lead the development and implementation of central and plant level master scheduling roles and responsibilities + Develop master scheduling policy, standard work, and decision-making framework to drive successful implementation and measurable results. Ensure the policies are understood and adhered to by direct and indirect stakeholders. + Lead the continuous improvement, standardization of processes, and best practices across master scheduling and relevant business functions + Develop, communicate, and improve key performance indicators that align to executive, SIOP, and facility performance measures. Drive root cause and corrective action methodology and culture. + Mentor and develop facility master schedulers. Develop organization and talent track for master scheduling organization. + Participate in the monthly demand and SIOP cadence to collaborate on the development of supply and demand recommendations + Develop systems and reporting to identify, assess, and address imbalances in supply and demand. Develop and deliver mitigation plans for key risks and opportunities. + Interact with commercial operations to provide timely and accurate information on lead times, schedule changes, and general inquiries + Monitor actual results versus the master production plan. Focus on process variances and drive solutions for recovery and process improvement. + Assist and act as a change leader in the development and execution of the SIOP and master scheduling roadmap + Develop feedback loop into SIOP and demand planning processes to capture trends, issues, and opportunities Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain, engineering, or related field. + Able to understand, apply, and support business goals and objectives + Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills + Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing or six sigma methodology to drive continuous improvement + Ability to effectively communicate globally to all levels of the organization + Well-organized and able to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail + Demonstrated knowledge of MRP and ERP systems Preferred Qualifications: + 10 years of leadership experience in materials management, planning, scheduling, or related experience + Leadership experience in the implementation of MRP and/or SIOP systems + APICS or related operations, inventory, supply chain, and scheduling certification + Experience in leading tactical or executive SIOP processes Referral Bonus Amount: Hiring Manager: Kurt P Lervick An Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V It is the policy of Terex to attract and retain the best qualified employees.
