The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Rush University Medical Center is seeking two full-time BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists at the Associate or Assistant Professor level to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty. The Obstetrics and Gynecology group at Rush University Medical Center includes OG specialists (generalists), OB hospitalists, and sub-specialists in maternal fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, family planning and advanced practice providers, and works closely with colleagues in neonatology, anesthesiology, other medical specialties, nursing and ancillary staff.
The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Rush is under new Division leadership and will become a consult-based practice which provides comprehensive services for all aspects of high-risk pregnancies. Deliveries are performed by obstetrical providers with MFM consultation as requested. The Division is seeking new faculty to add to the development of an integrated, multidisciplinary, value-based approach to high-risk obstetric care with a strong focus on research and education. Future goals for the Division include establishing a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship. Opportunities for leadership positions within the Department and Division including Director of Labor and Delivery, development and leadership of a Maternal-Fetal fellowship, in addition to others in quality, safety and practice guideline development are also available for qualified candidates.
Our growing team of providers supports a large referral base of OB/GYN physicians. Rush University Medical Center is one of ten Perinatal Centers that are part of the Illinois Perinatal Network and has a level III perinatal service with over 2,000 deliveries annually. Candidates will have a faculty appointment commensurate with experience; Rush offers a competitive salary and benefit package which includes on-site child care services.
