Mechanical Designer - Alliance, Ohio - Job 20-00256
Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $30.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

A well established and growing original equipment manufacturer located in the Canton metro area is seeking a mechanical designer for their team.
Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience with heavy industrial machine design to include engineering calculations and design support.
Experience using Inventor design software is highly desirable.
Additional requirements include:
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.

Additional requirements include:
- A minimum of an associate’s degree or technical school certificate
- Ability to comprehend customer specifications in order to translate them into functional design
- Demonstrated experience taking projects from cradle to grave in conjunction with other design team members and fabrication shop associates
- Experience with the generation of all necessary calculations
- Strong working knowledge of machinery fabrication processes
- Experience with MS Office Suite and AutoDesk Inventor design software
