Position Description: The Med Cert PCA will perform medication and treatment administrations according to resident care plans and assist residents with personal care needs under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Education/Training/ Experience: One year of medication administration experience required. Two (2) years experience in caring for a geriatric population preferred. CPR and First Aid Certification preferred. Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills; ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing 50 pounds or less; basic computer literacy; and satisfactory completion of post-offer, pre-employment physical, as required.
