Medcial Onocology/Hematology - Beaumont Hospital - Dearborn at Beaumont Health System

Beaumont Health is seeking hematology/oncology candidates to join a well-established Hematology/Oncology Center with 40 years of stability in the Dearborn/Southeastern Michigan region.

Currently the practice includes two physicians and two advanced practice providers. Patients are evaluated at lung, breast, GI, GU, head and neck and hematology tumor boards. Patients may be enrolled in clinical trials and there is hospitalist coverage for admissions and overnight inpatient emergencies. The physician will be able to participate in teaching activities with residents and medical students.

The group works closely with radiation oncologists, primary care physicians and surgeons. The radiation oncology department is equipped with the latest technology including direct access to proton therapy. Social work, nutritional, and genetic counseling services are available on site.

The ideal candidate should be a generalist who feels comfortable managing medical oncology, malignant and benign hematology (no hereditary coagulopathies except in emergencies). Weekend call is rotated within the group.  One to three years of experience is preferred; however new graduates are welcome.
