1 year of previous experience as a Medical Assistant role
2 years of previous experience as a Medical Assistant; Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
Familiarity with Endocrinology and/or Diabetes specialty and medical terminology
Experience with insulin pumps and medical terminology preferred
Excellent customer service and both written and verbal communication skills with patients and providers
Experienced with utilizing e-MDs or similar Electronic Medical Record system (EMR)
Basic lab knowledge
Skilled at giving injections and performing basic patient examination such as taking vitals

Schedule: Monday – Friday. Hours may vary between 7:30am and 5pm.
