To excel in the tasks specific to this essential role, as well as participate and help develop our WCCU Cares culture. You would be responsible for providing outstanding service to our members and to our internal staff (#TeamWCCU). Your actions will directly contribute to our goal of caring about our members, their financial needs, and our community. This position schedules appointments with members and MEMBERS Financial Service Representatives, markets the MEMBERS Financial Services program to credit union employees and members, performs administrative functions in support of the MEMBERS Financial Services program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Key factors for a successful coordinator
Represents the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner.
Schedules a minimum of 15 appointments per week with members and MEMBERS Financial Services representatives
Promote the MEMBERS Financial Services program to credit union employees and members.
Coordinate lobby displays and ensure materials are well supplied and current.
Assist with seminars, make room arrangements, assemble packets, and confirm seminar attendance.
Coordinate mailings of newsletters, surveys, seminars, annual review letters, and appointment information forms.
Answers member telephone calls and responds to member inquiries and questions or directs them as necessary. Responds to member emails and phone messages in a timely manner. Checks Organization emails regularly throughout the day and responds to internal voice and e- mail messages within a reasonable time.
Performs all duties while maintaining a strict level of member confidentiality.
Process mail, type memos, order supplies, manage calendars, computer knowledge, etc.
Maintains security of confidential member personal information. Daily shredding of all confidential member information that is no longer required.
Maintain member marketing lists
2.S/He markets the MEMBERS Financial Services program to both credit union employees and members.
Assists with seminar preparations.
Duties may include assembling seminar packets, making room arrangements, keeping lobby materials well supplied and current.
- Responsible for providing administrative support for the MEMBERS Financial Services program
Duties include setting up appointments with members, analyzing, sorting, and delivering incoming mail, providing telephone coverage, typing memos and correspondence, and managing calendars.
Keeps supervisor informed of area activities and significant problems.
Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly.
maintains member marketing lists ensuring that information is current and accurate.
Supports the Organization in all business initiatives.
Responsible for all closing paperwork depending on solution recommended to the member, via mutual funds, managed money, stocks, bonds, REITS or any of 3 different types of annuities used recommended.
- Major accountabilities
To perform effectively in this position the incumbent must have the ability to work in a team environment, excellent human relations skills and communication skills. The incumbent must possess good telemarketing and administrative skills including: organization, attention to detail, typing, and PC knowledge.
Assist with MEMBERS Financial Services marketing promotions with credit union employees and members and preparation seminars.
Provide administrative support for the MEMBERS Financial Services program.
Education/Certification:High school graduate or equivalent.
Required Knowledge:Thorough knowledge of member services and products provided.
Experience Required:One to three years of experience as a MemFs Coordinator or equivalent.
Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication and public relations skills.

Ability to operate department related computer applications and business equipment.
