Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Cardiopulmonary services, the Cardiovascular Diagnostic Services Manager is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the activities of the Cardiac Diagnostic Lab, Echocardiography Lab, and Vascular Lab. T his position requires the oversight of cardiovascular diagnostic procedures and related services provided to patients within the hospital and in the CarolinaEast Physicians practice settings. The Cardiovascular Diagnostic Services Manager serves as a role model and resource to staff. The manager has twenty-four hour accountability for the operations assigned department.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound training program and registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). RVT and/or RDCS required. Bachelor's degree in healthcare or Business Administration required. Minimum five years' experience in an acute care environment. Experience performing cardiac diagnostic studies, echocardiography studies, and/or peripheral vascular studies preferred. Three years' supervisory or managerial experience required. Current BLS certification required.
