Bachelor’sDegree in STEM with 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Fullknowledge of software development lifecycle and extensive technical expertise
Mustdemonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the softwaredevelopment lifecycle.
Exceptionalleadership skills in order to coordinate collaboration across engineeringteams.
Demonstratedmastery in various competencies of Teaching, Mentoring, and Facilitation.
Anactive Top Secret clearance with current Program access and the ability tomaintain Program access
Experiencedeveloping and/or testing software for ATDC
Proveninteraction in a distributed team environment
Strongbackground in software testing, troubleshooting, and the process of theSoftware Review Board
An advanced degree inEngineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other STEMdiscipline
- Prior experience in engineering functional management is a plus
- Proven leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate exemplary professionalism and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
- Demonstrate strong team-building/collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to build diverse/inclusive teams with engaged team members
- Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills, and excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
- Previous experience leading a team of 5-12 employees with a record of on-time performance
- Previous experience in developing proposal inputs (task descriptions and basis of estimate)
- Time management and organizational skills to prioritize across concurrent program and functional responsibilities
- Prior experience with performing software development using agile methodologies
- Prior experience with using Atlassian tool suite
