Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Long-Established Ag Equipment Retailer in hiring a Mid-Atlantic Territory Sales Representative to cover the states of Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. Primary duty will be to call directly on farming and horticultural operations to design and sell ground irrigation systems, parts and service. Attending/working trade shows, as well. Overseeing and installing systems when necessary. Managing customer accounts and prospecting for new accounts. Ideal individual will have territory sales experience calling directly on the farmer. Employer might consider a solid Ag individual with an outgoing, sales personality but no experience.
Excellent training with this employer. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, are customer-service focused and can talk comfortably with Ag and Horticultural growers, this could be the role for you.
***BASE SALARY TO 35K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE, PLUS 10% COMMISSION ON GROSS PROFIT FROM SALES. EMPLOYER ADVISES A REALISTIC 1ST YEAR INCOME OF 35K-50K. ROOM FOR GROWTH IN THIS TERRITORY!
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ag background within territory to be serviced
- Hands-on knowledge/understanding of Irrigation Systems
- Strong customer-service focus
- Good computer knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Clean driving record with ability to travel multiple states
