As part of the Client Engagement Team within the Commercial Bank Marketing & Communications organization, this new role was created to provide a dedicated focus on the California segment, which has tremendous growth opportunities for Middle Market.
This Client Engagement Manager will work directly with local leadership, bankers and sales support to develop and implement strategic event marketing plans designed to drive meaningful client and prospect engagement, sales opportunities and growth in market share. They will also serve as the California Marketing Coverage lead supporting local and national marketing & communications initiatives.
In addition, the manager will work closely with team members and other CB Marketing & Communication partners to coordinate and execute these local and national efforts ensuring oversight in the development of event materials, logistics planning, event amplification and appropriate client engagement pre, during and post event.
Develop programs and events that drive meaningful interactions with our tops clients and prospects
Deliver strategic event marketing plans and initiatives that support business goals
Work closely with partners within the CB Client Engagement team who will execute the planning of events including: creative development, logistics planning, invoice processing and invitation process
Identify amplification opportunities across PR, Content & Social to expand the life of events collaborating with the various functional areas of CB Marketing & Communications
Manage and track region budget with ongoing monitoring and reporting
Analyze programs for effectiveness, ROI analysis and evaluation - sharing results and pivoting programs to maximize ROI
Share synergies and best practices across the CB Client Engagement Team
Engage with other lines of business and firm partners (i.e. Private Banking, MLTs, Government Relations, Philanthropy, etc.) to ensure market connectivity and coordination
Serve as the marketing coverage lead for MMBSI in California supporting local and national marketing & communications initiatives and programs
Special projects as assigned by Head of MMBSI Client Engagement

8+ years of relevant and proven event marketing strategic development experience, preferably in B2B markets
