|Our client is looking for a Project Manager ? Technical Lead to support their new Medicaid Management Information System (newMMIS). This position will report to the Director.|
The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills and will serve as a Project Manager for a high visibility MMIS Modernization projects and the daily ongoing business as usual work to implement in the Medicaid claims processing system. The candidate will also provide project management, planning and implementation services to manage activities associated with other client initiatives as directed by the MMIS Director. The candidate will also provide all of project management support including coordination, management; developing and tracking project plans; developing WBS (work breakdown structure) resource management, risk assessment and business impact analysis.
The candidate will be working with the business manager on technologies in the market. They will leverage software infrastructure to implement this. Since ACO will be integrated soon, they want to focus on which technologies will work best in their specific environment and will rely on this candidates expertise. As new policy comes in, the consultants will see what technologies are needed to implement policy and what is best for business logic. The technical project manager will work directly with the functional project manager.
The successful candidate will have Health Care domain knowledge, technology design and implementation experience and at least working knowledge in areas such as data architecture and business intelligence.
