Required Skills Qualification BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP or CCDP are preferred Candidate should have five or more years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting network solutions in an SMB to mid-market environment Experience supporting networks, network routing, switches, and Internet-related networking and security technologies are required Experience with Cisco devices. (e.g. Cisco 6500, 4900, 3750, 7200, Nexus 7000, 5000, 2000, ASA firewalls Experience with Cisco wireless technologies is desirable Understanding of QoS methodologies and configuration is a plus Demonstrated expertise with Cisco IOS is a must Configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers Experience with F5 LTM and BIG IP DNS Load Balancers is a plus Security ACLs, ASA, TACACS+, wireless authentication required. Firepower NGFW experience is a plus Troubleshooting Packet capture and analysis tools such as Wireshark Understanding of IPsec and other VPN technologies such as L2TP, DMVPN, GRE is a must Must be conversant with Layer 3 control layer BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, route maps, route filters, etc. Must be conversant with Redundancy and resilience HSRP, VRRP, STP Understand scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, etc. is a plus Extensive experience within the network engineering process Working knowledge of Configuration Management tools and processes Understand Data Center design principals Experience in a Cloud Services environment is a plus Job Duties Responsibilities Technology Network operations support including move, add, changes, troubleshooting and infrastructure deployments Must be capable of troubleshooting any outages in the network and any network related application issues Configuration and maintenance of network devices such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load balancers, VPN concentrators and the like Wireless infrastructure operations This is an on-call job the candidate must be willing to be on call 24x7 as per the prescribed rotating schedule Ensures monitoring of network devices and operational availability of client network infrastructures Participates in the ongoing maintenance of engineering productivity tools.
