We are seeking an Operations/Network LAN Administrator to join our SEITS contract at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN/WAN.
Assist with backup & restoral of network assets
Recommends and schedules repairs.
Provides end users support for all LAN- based applications.
Installs and configures workstations.
Able to create and troubleshoot ethernet cables
Work with users and up channel network shops for troubleshooting and coordination
General network duties including: Firewall administration, Proxy administration, Switch & Router administration, and network access control (NAC) administration
Provide customer support, and utilize ticketing system for problem resolution tracking
Coordinate and install network hardware & software as needed
Assist in troubleshooting of networked assets
Support after hours maintenance &/or outages as needed
Create or Assist in creation/upkeep of documentation to include SOP’s and diagrams
Familiarity with DISA STIGS & network hardening
Coordinate with external agencies for coordinated changes or troubleshooting/fault isolation as required
Assist In tracking IP address assignments
At least 5 years of directly related experience
Active Secret Clearance
Must be U.S. Citizen
8570 IAT 2 or better certification
Relevant Industry certification
